Milipol Qatar 2026 Set to Open with More Than 270 Companies

DOHA: Milipol Qatar 2026, the Global Exhibition for Homeland Security and Safety, will launch its 16th edition on Tuesday, October 20, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), gathering over 270 local and international companies along with seven international pavilions.

Staged under the gracious patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and organised by the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the three-day exhibition runs until October 22 and offers a platform for showcasing the latest security technologies and solutions while fostering cooperation and the exchange of expertise.

The details were unveiled at a press conference addressed by Major General Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, and Karen Galstyan, Director of the Milipol Network. The event drew representatives of the exhibition’s sponsors and supporting organisations as well as members of the media.

Major General Nasser affirmed that all preparations for the exhibition are complete, noting that this year’s edition will span an exhibition area of 23,000 square metres. An outdoor space will additionally be set aside for displaying the Ministry of Interior’s vehicle fleet.

The exhibition will assemble security officials, experts and specialists from across the globe to explore developments in homeland security and safety, review technological innovations and reinforce professional cooperation.

Major General Nasser further noted that the exhibition will run alongside the Doha International Conference on AI and Security, which will gather prominent leaders and experts.

He voiced his appreciation to the sponsors and supporting organisations of both the exhibition and the conference, praising their contributions to organising the international event.

Galstyan, for his part, underscored the long-standing partnership between Milipol Qatar and the Ministry of Interior, which stretches back to the exhibition’s launch in 1996.

Milipol Qatar was the first event in the Milipol series to take place outside France, setting the stage for a partnership that has endured through successive editions.

Galstyan stated that the 16th edition will launch the 30th Anniversary Awards for the first time, honouring companies that have taken part in the exhibition over the past three decades.

The awards will recognise their sustained participation, loyalty and contributions to the exhibition’s growth and success.

The 2026 edition will once again unite international and local participants in the homeland security and safety sector, creating opportunities to discover emerging technologies and exchange expertise in a field increasingly defined by technological innovation.
