Doha Film Festival 2026 Launches New Accreditation Programme

The Doha Film Festival (DFF) is offering a new paid accreditation option for the 2026 edition, helping film fans and professionals personalise their festival experience during November 19-27.

The new DFF accreditation offering will give attendees the opportunity to choose from two options; Festival Accreditation for passionate film-goers and creatives, or Industry Accreditation with extra perks.

Both options will grant accreditation holders access to feature films, documentaries and short films from Qatar, across the region and globally. They will also have access to DFF Talks, featuring filmmakers, artists and professionals, as well as complimentary or discounted tickets to select live music events focusing on music and film.

“Film has the power to connect, inspire fresh perspectives and spark relationships. Our new accreditation options will allow our audience to personalise their experience at the Doha Film Festival and immerse themselves in incredible storytelling, interact with some brilliant minds and become an even more involved part of this incredible festival. At the Doha Film Festival we want everyone to feel curious, discover new things and feel a sense of belonging.”

Festival Accreditation will be available from the early bird price of QAR 360 ($98.27), rising to QAR 450 ($122.84). This will give you access to screening/talks and select DFF Music events.

Industry Accreditation will cost QAR 640 ($174.70) during the early-bird period and QAR 800 ($218.37). It offers everything included in the Festival Accreditation plus access to Doha Industry Days by the Film Committee at Media City Qatar, DFF Majlis and the Industry Directory.

Doha Industry Days will provide a series of panels, masterclasses and meetings to enable knowledge sharing and new creative collaborations. DFF Majlis will provide a hospitality area where accreditation holders can enjoy complimentary refreshments. The Industry Directory will allow accreditation holders to connect with fellow film professionals.

Early bird pricing will be available until November 2, 2026. Industry Accreditation applications will close on November 10. Festival Accreditation applications will close on November 19.

Places are limited so applying early is advised. Applicants must be aged 18+. All applications will be reviewed individually.

Applicants will be notified if they have been successful and will be provided with a booking code. This will give them the ability to book up to 10 tickets in advance. Additional tickets can be purchased at the box office.

International accreditation holders will also be able to apply for visa assistance via Hayya. Additional perks include discounted Qatar Airways fares and special rates at select partner hotels in Doha.

Doha Film Festival, supported by key partners such as Katara, Media City Qatar, Film Committee and Visit Qatar, enables filmmakers, audiences and industry professionals to come together and celebrate fresh storytelling and diverse voices from across the region and worldwide.
