The Qatar Chamber has announced the second edition of Qatar Medicare, the country’s premier international healthcare and medical exhibition and conference, taking place from 11–13 November 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

Organised by the Qatar Chamber in collaboration with IFP Qatar, and held under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar Medicare 2025 will bring together 100 exhibitors — including 64 local and 36 international companies from 14 countries — representing health professionals, hospitals, medical service providers, technology experts, and investors.

Driving Innovation and Global Collaboration in Healthcare

In his remarks, Ali Saeed Bu Sharbak Al Mansouri, Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, stated:

“Qatar is witnessing remarkable progress in its healthcare sector, becoming one of the leading destinations for medical tourism in the Middle East. Qatar Medicare serves as a key platform to forge partnerships, attract investment, and enhance the sector’s global competitiveness — in line with the Third National Development Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.”

Qatar: A Global Hub for Healthcare Innovation

H.E. Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Hamad Al Thani, Director of the Department of NCDs Prevention Programs at the Ministry of Public Health, emphasised Qatar’s rise as a global hub for healthcare innovation, noting that the Third National Health Strategy (2024–2030) focuses on quality, sustainability, and clinical excellence.

According to Fitch Solutions, Qatar’s healthcare expenditure is projected to grow at a 14% compound annual rate by 2029, reaching USD 11.5 billion, making Qatar the third-largest healthcare market in the GCC and tenth in MENA.

Expanding Participation and International Recognition

“Qatar Medicare 2025 highlights the latest healthcare innovations and connects professionals, companies, and institutions worldwide. This year’s edition features strong international participation from 14 countries and institutions, including WHO, UNESCO, Africa CDC, and the International Labour Organisation.”

The event features 40 expert speakers, 25 presentations, five panel sessions, and four workshops, concluding with the Qatar Medicare 2025 Healthcare Excellence Awards, which honour top-performing institutions and professionals.
