Jaeger-LeCoultre participates in the 21st edition of Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2025

Jaeger-LeCoultre is delighted to participate in the 21st edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2025, where it will showcase a remarkable selection of timepieces from its iconic Reverso and Duomètre collections. Additionally, live demonstrations of two key techniques—perlage and Duometre movement assembly—offer an exclusive opportunity to witness craftsmanship in action, providing a hands-on experience for guests. Since its creation in 1931 as a watch designed for polo players, the Reverso has transcended its sporting origins to become a timeless icon, embraced by trendsetters and widely recognized as a masterpiece of 20th-century design. The Maison will showcase Reverso models including the Reverso Tribute Chronograph and Reverso One Duetto. The Reverso Tribute Chronograph timepiece pays homage to the ground-breaking Reverso Chronograph of 1996 and introduces a fresh perspective with the new Calibre 860. Not only does it unveil the exquisitely crafted chronograph mechanism on the reverse side, but it also displays the time indication on both the front and reverse, showcasing innovation and reverence for tradition. The classic Reverso One Duetto revisits the codes of the first feminine Reverso models, emblematic of the Art Deco style: a rectangular and elongated case, dials with contrasting aesthetics, a double set of hands turning in opposite directions while indicating the same time, gadroons adorned with two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds. On the verso of the watch, the burgundy, glitter-lacquered dial highlights the elongated hour markers, which beam like rays of sunlight. In addition to the Reverso, the Maison will showcase a new generation of Duometre timepieces including the Duometre Chronograph Moon launched at Watches and Wonders 2024. Powered by Calibre 391, this piece presents a fascinating contrast between the lightning-fast operation of the chronograph, capable of timing intervals as small as 1/6th of a second, and the slow rhythm of the moon as it completes its cycle in 29.53 days, complemented by a Night and Day display. The Duometre Quantieme Lunaire (Moon Phase) will also be showcased; a reinterpretation of the first Duometre piece offered in steel, with an eye-catching blue dial, that pairs with a new case, to lend a contemporary touch to a timeless and distinctive design. The deep blue dial of the Duometre Quantieme Lunaire features long, fine hands – characteristic of all Duometre watches – and the symmetrical layout, with three sub-dials in an inverted pyramid, make a striking impression. The exhibition will take place between 30 January to 5 February, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). Entry is open to the public and free of charge.
